When it comes to choosing the right realtor to list and market your property there are three questions to consider:
- Do they know and understand your particular market area? Do they work your area? Do they live in your area? Buyers aren’t just purchasing a house or a lot. They are purchasing into a municipality. They are purchasing a lifestyle. The Realtor you choose should understand your area and know the permitted use ordinances.
- 2. Do they have an aggressive marketing plan? Can they market out of the area? Do they provide reports on their marketing efforts? You’ll get more for your money if your Realtor has an aggressing marketing plan and access to marketing across a broad spectrum of buyers.
- 3. Have they sold any properties in your area? This is a good indication that they understand, know and work your area. You’re more likely to get better service, better pricing and more showings if you choose someone who actively works your area.
